User Scenario

This is the initial idea of the project......
- filming people walking from the roof of my apt building (5 min/day)
- track paths of people walking with computer vision
- sew paths into a patch of fabric
- patches sewn together make-up a quilt of patterns

Resolution Quilt

This is a similar idea where resolution of a dingle place is investigated. Each line represents a different view of resolution. As you move across the quilt from left to right you increase the resoluion from low to high.
Each square is expanded out into the next line to the right.

For example....the quilt might represent a personal home on the coast of virginia.
So beginning from left to right the view starts out with the whole eastern coastline......then transitions all the way down to the border between the beach and the ocean at the persons' home in virginia.

The quilt works the same as Google Maps.....zooming in from a large scale (low res) to the neighborhood scale (high res) in similar increments. Each click in is a new line.
